AGP arrivals
All arrivals at T3 Level 0 — passport control under the Entry/Exit System, baggage reclaim, and the train station opposite the hall.
You land, you clear the border, you collect your bag, and the train to the city is a two-minute walk from the hall. Arrivals at Málaga are compact — everything happens on one level of T3 — but since the Entry/Exit System went live, passport control is the step that decides your evening.
Live arrivals board
The arrivals flow, step by step
- Disembark into T3. All commercial arrivals enter T3 at Level 0, whichever terminal you departed from.
- Passport control. EU/EEA/CH travellers: e-gates. Everyone else: the EES lanes. First visit under the system = kiosk registration (passport, photo, four fingerprints — 3–7 minutes per person, under-12s photo only). Keep your boarding pass handy.
- Baggage reclaim (T3, Level 0). Belts are signed by flight number.
- Customs. Green “nothing to declare” / red channel as normal for non-EU arrivals.
- Arrivals hall. ATMs, tourist info, and the exits: the train station opposite the hall (escalators down in the plaza), EMT bus A and the taxi rank outside, Avanza coaches from the forecourt.

Arrivals FAQ
Which terminal do arrivals use at Málaga Airport?
All commercial arrivals — regardless of which terminal you departed from — come into T3, Level 0. There is no arrivals hall in T2.
What happens at passport control when I land at AGP?
EU/EEA travellers use the e-gates as before. Non-EU visitors — including Britons — now go through the Entry/Exit System: first-timers register at a kiosk (passport scan, facial photo, fingerprints, 3–7 minutes), then clear. Repeat visitors use the e-gates in under 90 seconds.
Where is the train station at Málaga Airport?
Directly opposite the T3 arrivals hall — take the escalators down in the forecourt plaza. The Cercanías C1 reaches Málaga city centre in about 12 minutes (€1.80), Benalmádena in about 18 minutes and Fuengirola in about 34 minutes. You can tap a contactless bank card at the turnstiles.
Where do I find buses and taxis after landing?
Straight outside the arrivals hall: the EMT Airport Express (Line A) stop is in front of the terminal (€4 to the city), the taxi rank is alongside it, and Avanza coaches to Marbella and Estepona leave from the forecourt. Car rental desks are in the T2 basement — follow the signs.
Is there free Wi-Fi in AGP arrivals?
Yes — join the “Airport Free Wifi Aena” network. Fine for messaging and telling your transfer driver you have landed.
